Great customer service and quality film
I ordered the full kit of 3M Basic for my Honda CR-V.Last time I tried to apply film was 20 years ago,and it didn't turn out well being cheap film.After a lot of reading and watching Youtube videos,I decided to try again.I ordered a set from Tint Effect and it arrived in 2 days,carefully packaged.I did choose to buy some professional grade tools (Blue Max with Unger Pro handle,yellow turbo,platinum ez reach and conqueror).Using distilled water and Johnson and Johnsons baby shampoo,I went to work.Messed up a couple windows because I didn't have enough slip and the film tacked up too fast.Ordered replacement precuts and again they arrived in 2 days.I used 24 oz distilled wated and half a cap baby shampoo which worked for me.Windows turned out better than I expected.A few small blemishes but noithing you can see from 5 feet away.Film is crystal clear and I saved over $100 doing it myself and it was fun,too.I only gave it 4 stars because if I did it over again I would use the 1.5 mil 2 ply,but for $59 you cant beat the 3M Basic,especially when a locakl shop quoted me $210 for the same job.Well done Tint Effect,thanks !
